The Tsi-Akim Maidu tribe are indigenous American Indians that have
inhabited the Nevada and Plumas County region for thousands of years.
Nevada and Plumas County Supervisors officially endorse the tribe. The
Nevada County Historical Society was first to endorse the tribe in the
year 2000.
